David Blainey set up The BusMan Transport Consultancy in 2018 after a long career in the public transport industry.

   He held senior management positions with:

He has been actively involved in The Association of Transport Co-ordinating Officers (ATCO) and The Association of Local Bus Managers (ALBUM) and continues to be involved in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

 

Since 2018, David has been continually employed by government departments, local authorities, bus operators and national transport consultancies as well as using and commenting on public transport services. In his spare time he drives on rural local bus services in North Wales.
